That depends if you are adopting a rescue pig or getting a pig from a breeder and if you are getting a pig from a breeder whether you want to have one that is "breedable" and has "official" papers...

If you get a rescue pig from a group that is foicused on getting a pig into a good home, I beleive that they are free.
