You chased him with a dog? Do you think that might have scared him. Doesn't seem to be much incentive to come to you if a dog is chasing him! Is this your pet pig? A stray pig? A wild pig? If he's your guy then my bet is that food will be the only thing that will bring him in. Can you get within sight of him? Try staying in one spot (without the dog and with food -- perhaps bananas or other fruit, treats, peanut butter or the like -- and try to entice him to come to you. Then do the Hansel and Gretel trick to get him where you want him. Without knowing the terrain, distance, etc., its hard to know what is the best method. Although -- food is always the best method. If he/she has been in the woods eating grass, etc., the tasty treat might work. What do you think?
