27. Re: I'll try this again!From: Trina 27.1. CommentsI asked the vet to give them the rabies shot and he wouldn't! He called the state vet and said he couldn't give it if it wasn't approved. I might try and push the issue since I saw another rabid raccoon up the road two nights ago. It's epidemic around here and it scares me to death. The rabid fox that came up here was spotted by my Rottweiler so I was able to shoot it before it bit anything. First animal I ever killed and it felt horrible to do but it had to be done. It tested positive and since my dog bit the fox (didn't even break the skin) to keep it off of me she had to be quarantined for three months(on my property). I'll check out the site you gave me and see what i can do. Thanks, Trina |
