Trina, Sorry if I came across as thinking animals are disposable. Not at all! I feel a great responsiblily toward any animals I own. I won't even flush any baby fish I don't have room for; I make room! I only wrote to try to find out about a potential problem I'd read about on a website to see if it was a common problem or not; it was a real concern to me so I wanted to check it out. If it is, then I won't run the risk; I'll leave it to people who may choose to run it. I wouldn't choose any animal with the idea that if things just don't work out, I can get rid of it. I have more respect for God's animals than that. Sorry to come across wrong. Just trying to do some good research so I will make an educated, wise choice. I really want to know any serious problems that can come up; I know what to expect with a dog, but I relize pigs have their own rules. I just want to learn them.
