Regarding vet in Maryland. I live in Calvert County, Md. (western shore/southern md.). One that I know of on your side of the pond is Dr. Mike Forney, Chestertown Animal Hospital, 410-778-2455. This doctor is a real miracle worker. Saved the life of a friend's pig when everyone else had given up. I know its about 1 hour north of you, but he is experienced, caring and treats piggies. I believe it would be worth a trip. As an alternative, maybe he can recommend someone closer. Good Luck! Linda
