I highly recommend the chute. My little piggy now weighs close to 200lbs, and I dont know what would ever get her off the ground without ripping. My piece of advice is to get your pig used to the hoof trims asap, and do it very often (even when not necessary) just to keep him (her?) used to it. That is important for mostly everything you need to do for piggy maintenance...The chute is a great thing to have later too. Our pig hates the car, so we have to use a mobile vet, so the chute is perfect for vaccinations, harnessing etc.
