I agree, teaching her to go in the back yard -- or a litter box -- would be a plus. It is important that you teach your pig that your pig IS NOT second in command. (you are first). That will be tough since given the age factor -- but it is possible to teach an old pig new tricks. I think isolation will only compound the problem as it really is only a "band aid."
