This is my first visit to this site and after reading most everything here I wonder just how many pot bellied pigs in the U.S. are pedigreed and actually are allowed to live inside the home before people realize it's not a natural place for a pig to be. I have recently rescued three potbellied pig from the animal shelter that were dumped on the side of the road because the owner no longer wanted to take care of them. i doubt seriously that the owners care if they're pedigreed or not when they get tired of them. Selling pigs as being good house pets is misleading. If you disagree then check out the shelters and rescues and ask why they have so many unwanted pigs.
