pigs are never too old to learn! They are incredibly smart and learn fast! remember not to force them! their primary motivators are food and fear. you don't want to scare them. so be patient with them and use raisins or popcorn and do a little at a time. for example get your pig used to getting in the harness first. hold the loop in front of your pig and hold some popcorn so your pig needs to stick its head through the loop to get a bite. do this for s few days and then take it to the next step where you get the loop on all the way and then take it to the next step where you hook the rest of the harness up. then comes walking... teach you pig a command that when you say it and they come to you you give them food... maybe "walk" -- I use "c'mmon." then when walking with them give them food so they think that as they go forward, there are food stores on the sidewalk or floor or carpet that await them...
