The grunting and whining is very normal. Pigs are vocal. There are 5 basic sounds a potbellied pig will make, each one having a different meaning. The what I call HAHAHA is the potbellied pig's way of telling you it is happy. The soft uhh uhh uhh means contentment. Screaming is attention seeking. Barking is the excitment and snorting out the noise is the "Im trying to make you think Im tough" noise. I have yet to figure out how to quiet a potbellied pig and Im not sure we are meant too.
