this is normal pig behavior. a visitor is a new member of the herd over whom your pig is attempting to establish dominance. priscilla valentine has a great book on pig are and behavioral problems - here's the link... www.valentinesperformingpigs.com/trainingbook.html and www.mini-pigs.org is another very resourceful site re potbellied pigs and their care.

aggression is a very typical and solveable problem with potbellied pigs.

are you aware that your baby needs to be spayed at a very young age? please talk to your vet about it asap. when i adopted my little girl (9 years ago), i didn't know that the operation needed to be done when they are young and by the time i found out, she was too old. if you don't have her spayed, she will go into heat every 21 days, become very aggressive and try to run away. enjoy your little cutie.
