When Emma walks she has a reaaly hard time walking. She lifts up her right hind leg each time she walks. This seems to bother her more in the winter. The vet thinks she has what some horses haave, a tendon that is involved and it seems to catch. I give her advil and but I am wondering if cortisone shots or pills would work. She sleeps for a long period of time and when she does get up I lay down rugs for her to walk on. SHe eats lays down by the heater for a while then wants to go back to bed. I cover her up with her blankets and we spend time rubbing her bellie and she streches for me to get under her leg. She does not have much activity right now. What do you think? Thanks Lu ann
