Help. We have an 8 yr old potbellie named Precious. Precious has a problem every winter where she vomits and is always looking for water- which just encourages the vomiting. The only thing we could think of is that she grazes on grass in the warmer months and obviously isn't able to in the winter (living in RI doesn't help). We have taken her to Tufts in MA and they couldn't find anything wrong with her and suggested Metamucil be added to her diet. Any advice?? I am also looking for advice on a vet in the RI area if possible, but we will travel as needed. I am anxious to find a vet who specializes with Potbellie pigs, I have taken her to local vets but the knowledge just isn't there. Any advise would be helpful. Thank you!!
