Your pig is definitely NOT too old to neuter! We adopted two adult males last year and had them neutered with no problems. It definitely does change their temperment for the better!
Do you have access to a vet that is familiar with pot-bellied pigs? If not, you need to be sure and let them know that when neutering a pot-bellied pig, the inquinal loop must be litigated, or the pig runs the risk of developing a herniation, which can be fatal.
So get your guy neutered-the sooner, the better!
