We transport pigs all the time from rescue situations to the sanctuary in trailers....we use straw bales along the ramp to help load them without injury, but as far as in the in the trailer we just put down several bales of opened and scattered straw. Once the trailer starts to move, the pigs generally lay down and don't do a lot of moving around. Putting straw bales around the trailer is generally not necessary.
