To Tootie's owner: May I ask a question? I'm the one who first brought this "fixing aggressive behavior" up. I appreciate your honesty. I was wondering if you bought your pig from a breeder and saw the parents and if you were able to socialize her alot? If your answer is no, just to avoid any wrong ideas, I only ask out of curiosity and really wanting to find out about owning a pig. I'm not asking to lay blaim you or anyone, or to tell you how you could have "done better" (I've never owned a pig, so I'm not in any position to point fingers!).Again, I appreciate your honesty. I need to hear the bad stories as well as the good ones!

Probably the most knowledgeable person in the UK on potbellies is Gren Owen. He not only owns pigs, he works diligently in potbellied pig rescue in the UK. I don't have a good email contact point for Gren, although he posts on the Pigs As Pets list all the time. He is also a columnist for and supporter of the Pigs As Pets Association (PAPA) in Fort Meyers, FL. Their website is www.come.to/pigsaspets.com and their phone number is (941) 694-8128. Or you can do a search on any search engine under potbellied pigs and their address/website will be in the top 50 or so results. They can certainly give you a valid email address for Gren. good luck.
