I have a pig named Indigo. He is cute and loveable, but also a royal pain in the butt. He is engaging in negative behavior to get our attention. An example of this is that he was previously potty-trained but now goes on the floor sometimes right by his liter box. We keep it clean consistently, but he still refuses to use it. Also he makes a good deal of noise frequently as well as waking us up several times during the night with his rampant squealing and grunting. He also rams his nose into us and gets incredibly upset when he doesn't get his way. We want to use positive reinforcement to encourage appropriate behavior, but we are afraid that if we give him rewards he will begin to associate his inappropriate behavior with getting a treat. If there are any tips or suggestions on how to train our pig to behave decently we would sure appreciate it.

Thank You,

Jesse and Darci
